Nick Stupakis currently serves as Vice President of Helion, a subsidiary company of Highmark Health. In his role, Nick plays an integral part in the development and execution of  their "Healing at Home" strategy to transform quality, service, and value in the post-acute space through an innovative payor-provider network management model.

Strategy Realization Team

This team is responsible for evaluating strategic options to support Helion and defining the roadmap to achieve strategic objectives. This team drives the development of a comprehensive market strategy in conjunction with the capability, network performance, network operations, and market execution teams. This includes strategic planning for new markets as well as refinement and evolution of strategies in existing markets to meet Helion goals.

The Product & Technology team, directed by Sean Hunt, is responsible for continuously delivering value across internal and external stakeholder groups by bringing advanced analytics, applications, and other technology solutions to the user experience across home and community care.

Network Performance Team

The Network Performance Management team is led by Andonia Aber. This team builds relationships and collaborates with home and community care providers within the designated market. This includes providing education to network providers on technology and reimbursement methodologies, review quarterly clinical and performance outcomes, offer site of care best practice training, and perform provider specific root cause analyses.This team is also responsible for evaluating provider networks and defining micro-market strategies based on the market maturity and improvements towards a quality transition for members, building and maintaining value based reimbursement programs, evaluating and updating reporting and key data insights and supporting the deployment and maintenance of the portal and new programming.

Helion Clinical Operations and Communications Team

The Helion Clinical Operations and Communications team is led by Carrie Johns. The clinical operations team is comprised of a multi-disciplinary group of clinicians focused on designing and implementing innovative, collaborative and evidence-based best practices to promote the delivery of quality care in the home and community setting. They provide education to upskill the work force and industry standard best practices to support the programs.  The Communication team connects Helion to our external provider networks and internally with our customers through webinars, quarterly newsletters, website and intranet design, social media, and structured email delivery.  The communications team also leads all branding and marketing efforts for Helion.  Last, the employee engagement, professional development, onboarding, and mentorship programs are led by a collective effort of the clinical and communications team.  Our goal is to ensure our network, partners and employees are supported and equipped to perform at their best every day.

The Innovation and Cost Effectiveness team, directed by Ken Burkholder, partners with Helion and our customers to curate a culture of innovation and cyclical value creation.  This team has evolved to reflect a commitment to market leading strategies and class leading solutions.  The team’s efforts include the development and oversight of medical cost and efficiency strategies to drive customer value, competitive and market intelligence, the innovation ecosystem and its evolution, external partnership management, and leading strategic initiatives.  Through these efforts, the team enables streamlined ideation that drives tangible customer value.
